David Malone has more than 25 years experience working within medical entomology and vector control industries. His experience includes working with commercial, government and academic institutions.
Formerly a member of a small team of medical entomologists providing expert technical advice and training for the British Armed Services, during which time he worked on a number of projects related to the prevention of vector borne diseases, examples include studies on the epidemiology of Scrub Typhus in SE Asia, and the development of permethrin treated uniforms for use by military personnel.
Subsequently appointed as Deputy Director of the Cayman Islands Mosquito Research and Control Unit, the largest mosquito control programme of its type in the Caribbean Region and later moved to the USA becoming Director of Research and Technical Services at Adapco Inc., Florida.
Joined IVCC in 2009 and is now responsible to leading product biology related activities for new products under development within IVCC projects.
